In the past twelve months The Canyons has spent over $10 million dollars expanding the terrain and upgrading the resort. On the far south end of the property the brand new DreamCatcher lift (fixed grip quad) accesses over 200+ new acres of tremendous tree skiing and wide-open runs. The Tombstone Express lift, formerly a fixed grip quad, is now a high-speed 6-pack increasing uphill capacity by a staggering 52%. New cabins were added to the Cabriolet lift, taking guests from the parking area to the gondola at the start of the day faster then ever, while also shortening the lines at the end of the. Our on mountain hub, Red Pine Lodge, located at the top of the Flight of The Canyons gondola at mid-mountain, has been expanded with over 150 seats and a brand new menu. go to press releases>>
New development at the base area is in full swing with over a dozen new properties coming aboard within the next 3-5 years. These range from partial ownership to condominium, townhome and single-family projects. During the next year we will begin construction on an 18-hole golf course, adding to our already plentiful summer offerings.
